Tony Suhy started playing Bass with Detroit area bands that were inspired by an early wave of Motown, Soul, Rock & Roll, and R&B. Today, Tony has over 35 years successful experience as both an Electric and Acoustic bassist having performed and recorded with notable Detroit area artists including; Mitch Ryder, Josh White Jr. and Stewart Franke among some the more notable names. Lifetime musical experience encompasses more than 3 years of touring, recording credits for regional or national commercial media, voice-over performances and music releases by local or national artists including three in 2010. Currently Tony can be found performing Upright Bass with the hot Latin Jazz group "LL7", playing some great Classic Soul, Motown and R&B dance music with his band "King Sweat" or gigging around the D with a variety of Detroit area bands. For Tony, it is about the music, the groove and connecting with the audience.
